My ring holds great importance to me.  My mother gave it to me for my 16th birthday, and her mother gave it to her on her 16th and so on.  This flower represents the cyani flower, 
or cornflower, helping me to remember my German heritage.  I wear it constantly since it also reminds me of my mother’s love for me and the strength of our family bond.
