My 6th great grandfather on my mother's side's name was James Folk. The Folk family originated from France. In 1740 Jacob moved to America. The Folk family used to be named the Fulk family, or the Foulque family. The family's crest is pretty interesting. Without the Folk family I wouldn't be here. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the actual crest, because hat's probably long gone.
