My object is a keychain. It is the shield of my country. The national shield of Nicaragua was created along with the present flag of Nicaragua by the legislative decree of the 5th of September. Nicaragua's shield is the most symbolic element within a patriotic symbol. My husband brought it as a souvenir. I was very happy when I received it. It represents a bit of my roots.
