My item is my soccer cleats. Not just one pair of cleats, but all my cleats.  It is not the shoes so much as the memories and experiences they hold. They are important to me in a way that can't be replicated. When I bought my soccer cleats, my family wasn't in the best financial situation. Seeing my mom sacrifice what little money she had just to make me happy hurt. In the season I had so many times where I felt like giving up and crying, and it made me think why should I have the right to give up and throw away something many others and I had worked for. They also hold memories from other people that I might never see again, people that helped me, and gave me something that you can't buy.  These cleats remind me of sacrifice and love and I remember that any time I think about quitting or giving up. These cleats make me stronger.
