My dads enlistment in the armyU.S Army Retired(SGT),with 9 years of military service.92Y Unit supply specialist( Job title).Coordinated logistics training for supply procedures.Planned and organized unit success on Physical security.Inspections for weapon maintenance and durability;Facilitated how to properly manage organizational equipment without loss or damage and ensured all high dollar valued items were accounted for daily(job description).3 total deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan; awarded the combat action badge, Good conduct medal, Army commendation medal, Global war on terrorism, National defense service medal, Campaign medals(decorations and medals).Their basic combat training was a duration of 10 weeks. The locations were various army training bases.They went through physical and endurance training, weapons handling and marksmanship, tactical field training, first aid and battlefield survival.-This tradition is about my dad’s enrollment in the army.It’s story is about what my dad did, his job description and his overall experience.It connects to my family by showing how me and my family were impacted by his service and efforts for being in the army.It shows the principles of loyalty, determination, duty and respect to do selfless service for your nation.This story connects to how other nations had to gain civilians to serve them in their armies to fight for their nations from threats to their country
