This is for my mother. Her life was difficult throughout the years but this object reminds her of the good times. This object is a seashell. It came from the beaches of Puerto Rico. This object is very large and has some sort of cut in the center. Which is deep so you can place things inside of it like grass, sand, money etc. This object is important because this this seashell reminds my mom of home. Puerto Rico is a place my mom will never forget. The person who gave my mom this seashell was me. And she kept it because she knew how special it was. I know how much my mom loves this object. People should know these experiences because it's important to know what people gone through. Everyone has a struggle.This connects to being an American because to me being an American is something to be proud of. Puerto Rico will always be her favorite place and I know my mom will never lose or displace this object.
