Mom's diploma
My mom was the first person on her side of the family to graduate college. My grandma came to America with my mom and uncle, when my mom was 8 years old. She is the oldest out of 4 siblings. They didn't know any english when they first came to America, but my grandma managed to get a visa and find work at a chicken factory. Eventually my mom and my uncle became fluent in English and were able to do a bunch of school sports and clubs. My mom graduated highschool in 2000, then she had me and my siblings a couple years after. It wasn't easy having to take care of us but she had help from my grandma and dad. She went to college for nursing and graduated as magna cum laude, then got her citizenship a couple months after. I'm very grateful to my grandma and parents for they inspired me and always make sure me and my siblings are able to do anything in America.
