This is my families coat of arms.

So the immigration of my mothers family to Brasil then to America all started with my great great great great great grandfather, Jacob Morgenstern. He was 25 years old at the time. He, his wife Philopine Koch (26 years old), there two children Elisabeth and Jaccò(ages 3 and 1). They were from Bariera (Germany). They got on the “Saltano” ship, leaving from the Port of Bremero. There desire was to go to Brazil and intention to settle in São Leopoldo-Rio Grande do Sul. They traveled for 3 months. They finally arrived in Brasil on may 11, 1850. From there my family immigrated to Santa Catarina and Paraná Brazil which is where they are today. Then in 2000 my mother came to America, that’s where she met my father and they had me.
Fun fact In the Middle Ages, jews we’re encouraged to adopt a patronymic, a name derived from the name of a person's father or ancestor. The rulers decided that they should pay for the most elegant name, but the most beautiful and poetic ones were: Morgenstern (morning star), Rosemberg (Mountain of Bosas) and Silverberg ( Silver Mountain). I wonder how much they paid to have the name Morgenstern. Also back in ancient times people used to have “coat of arms” with different symbols. These symbols would identify people and families. The Morganstern family had a coat of arms.
