Greetings, my name is Berry, I was born in the Us while my parents have immigrated from China. My parents came to the Us in 1994. And what I choose to share is the mooncake, a very special dessert/treat.

The first time I had mooncake was probably during the mid autumn festival, or Chinese New Years. In my opinion, it is was probably the prettiest thing my 7 year old eyes have seen. It was like the moon on a clear sky, but only that it has beautiful designs and it was a baked good. My aunt gave me it to try and it tasted pretty good. However my favorite was the one with red bean paste or egg.

The mooncake was important to me because it was one of the first Chinese traditional food I had. And my family was there when I had it.
