I remember everytime me and my cousins would go to my grandmothers house she would always have tons of food! We would eat and she would always make these homemade tortillas made of maize.The tortillas are so good with beans,caldos,carne con chile,and chile de molcajete and much more,my grandmother still uses her tortilla press till this day! I asked my grandmother who taught her how to make tortillas she said her own mother thought her and it's been passed down generation by generation, my grandmother started making tortillas on her own when she was 11 in Huascato,Jalisco than once she met my grandfather and got married they came to the US in 1992 and bought a house in R iverdale at the time she didn't have a tortilla press so she would use a dough roller until she had the money to buy a press from the remate.
