Menorah

My mom's grandma passed away before I was born. Before she passed she gave my mom a menorah. It is made from metal and is long with spots for the candles along it. A menorah is used on Hanukkah and you light one candle on every day until the 8th day. This is in the Jewish religion and it is a very fun time of the year that my family enjoys a lot. My mom told me about this object when I was very young, and we still use it every year. This menorah is about 50 years old and it is kept in the closet until we bring it out almost every year to use. This is a significant object to my family because my mom's grandma died so it is one of the only objects that she has from her. I believe that my mom's grandma bought the menorah a while ago from a store. This object shows that I am Jewish and that we celebrate Hanukkah every year.
