This is my great grandmas baptism book. Because while migrating to the United States via coyote she lost her birth certificate, we never knew how old she was, when her birthday was, or how old she was when she passed. I loved my great grandma. She was very much involved in my life when I was a baby because the majority of the time my parents were working. While living in the NorthWest side of Chicago she would take care of me daily. She gave my grandma this book of her baptisms service before she died and sadly once my grandma died we were left with some of her belongings and one of those being this book. She said she got baptized later than expected and we estimate it was roughly around when’s she was 9. My great grandma gave this book to my grandma which in turn got given to my father. My oldest sister claims it now and I’m waiting for the day this book becomes my possession which I will keep with other beautiful and pure treasures of my family.
