M.L.

As a family of three generations of women we moved to America in 2005 from Poland. We were a modern type of household with all females living together with no men. Over the years my mom and grandma did the best they could to make sure my life is better than theirs. This photo, taken 10 years later shows that we made America our home while still  maintaining our home land transitions. Our life changed around 2009 when my mom moved in with her fiancé and my grandma moved, out shifting our family dynamic as well as household. Moving to America has divided my family by being in two separated continents but also introduced us to a different type of life.
