The object I chose to represent is food from Trinidad and Tobago. My father was raised there from young and came to America when he was 13 year old. His parents didn't have much money so while growing up, he was taught how to cook. Food really represents where my dad's side of the family is from both health, and personality.Although my father isn't from America, my mother is. The food he cooks is quite different than what most people are used to here in America where most of my mother's family is from. Food really defines a lot about the location. I personally love eating foreign foods and take pride in knowing it's unique and that I know how cook as well as my father did. Cooking the food I grew up eating has been taught through out many generations and will continue to through my siblings and I.
