My mother's maiden name is Scala. My great grandfather who was an immigrant from Sicily, Italy started his bread business when he was young. He brought his bread recipe to Fairview, New Jersey later on. He passed down the business to my grandfather and our family cherishes the years of baking bread at Scala's Bakery!
