This Chuppah used to be a tablecloth that belonged to my great great grandma that was used on holiday meals. However, it is a tradition to have a Chuppah at a jewish wedding. My mom wanted to use this as the Chuppah from her moms side of the family. She took tree branches from her dad's country house, which was a special place for her dad, to represent that side of her family, and those together made a beautiful Chuppah at my parents wedding!
(Also, their anniversary is this weekend!!)
