Infinity Necklace
I feel most people have jewelry pieces passed down from relatives, but in this case, that’s not how I got my necklace. I wear my infinity necklace every day around my neck no matter what. My grandma bought it at a jewelry store for me and my two other sisters. On Christmas morning she handed each one of us a box and inside was this sparkly, silver necklace that was in a piercing blue holder. When I saw what this was, I was overjoyed. My grandma was a passionate person and always had courage whenever she was going through something tough. She also was a fighter against cancer which made her strong in so many ways. Whenever I don’t wear this necklace, or I have to take it off for some certain reason, I feel empty without it. My grandma passed away a couple of months ago and it was the hardest time of my life, but when I look at my necklace it makes me feel like she is with me every day still. The fact that all my sisters and I share this special necklace makes me feel like we are all connected through this piece of jewelry. I hope that when I am older I can pass this necklace down to my children or grandchildren so that they can have the same experience that I had with this infinity necklace.
