The Buddhist Shrine have the Buddha.

The Buddhist Shrine at our household hold a significance towards my family culture. Buddhism is a major religion across China. Once or twice in  a year, my family especially my grandparents and parents would set up a table. Putting on foods like snacks, oranges, and a chicken along with tiny cups of tea as an offering to our ancestors. We pray for our ancestors to bring good fortunes toward our lives and the future. We also light up sticks and candles along with buring fake paper money in honoring our ancestors. Although my parents when first arrive at America didn't bring any of these luxraries Buddhist shrine currently at my home. My parents will at least subsitute the shrine by placing a buddhist candle holder and placing oranges at the ground to pray for our ancestors for better fortune in the future.
