My object is a prayer mat. Muslim’s use Prayer mats to pray to god (Muslim’s call god, “Allah”). It is very important to Muslim’s. It came from the middle-east where Muslim’s come from. The Muslim’s needed to know Arabic to pray on them. 
They’ve existed for hundreds of years. A Prophet created the first prayer mat using palm fronds. In the past, they’ve changed a lot, but they’re always going to be fabric. They use Prayer mats is Mosque's.

The Prophet (SAW) created Islam in 610 AD. He had many followers that went on a journey. From the Middle-east, to South Africa. The population grew and grew. These days the Muslim population is approximately 1.907 billion. It’s the second largest population. The prophet’s prayer mat was the original prayer mat. It doesn’t exist anymore. Prayer mats showed us a lot if history and are the most important things to us Muslim’s.
