My Mom at the age of 27, decided that she wanted more for herself and immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic. She came here for a better life and work. While living in the states my mom provided for her family her and in Dominican Republic, she’s also building a house there. My mom is also a landlord here in the US, “having these houses...” she says “is for me to leave behind for you guys always have a place to stay.” My mom has sacrificed so much of herself for my siblings and I could have better.
