I chose a gravestone because it makes me and all my family members think of my cousin and who he was.  He was very sick from a disease called AIDS. Aids HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus. My artifact is special to me because the gravestone shows my family's background .It means sadness, because it was heartbreaking when we found out he had AIDS.  How would I describe it: It is made of concrete and was etched with words that help us remember who he was.
