My object is a fine gold chain necklace that used to belong to my great aunt. I wear it every single day and I haven’t taken it off since I got it; I shower with it on, I go to class with it on, I went to prom with it, and I took my senior photos with it. This necklace has seen every sentimental and mundane event in my life and it will see everything that comes after my life because I intend to pass it down to my daughter, or my family, when I’ve decided that it has given me all the luck it can give.
