My Grandpa Peter wrote many letters home to his family in Denmark.  He immigrated at age 20 to the United States.  His family saved all his letters and returned them to him in 1964, when he was finally able to travel back to his homeland.  These are family treasures, as they tell the story of his new life in America.  We have learned so much about him from having these letters translated.
