My object is a glass bowl filled with glass candies my family was passed down from my great grandmother, who we called GG, after her passing. My mom would always tell me stories about how when she used to visit my great grandmother she would always see those glass candies sitting on a side table in her living room in her little apartment. My great grandmother would also always keep a handful of candies in her purse no matter where she went. So, these glass candies remind our family of that as well. She moved from Poland to America and was gifted the glass bowl with candies once she was in America. Although it seems insignificant, sitting on a side table in our living room it is very special to my family. This reminds my family everyday of her and her long life.
