Gold Ring
I've lived in America all my life. The past three generations have lived here in America. I keep this special piece of jewelry that represents where I'm from. My great grandmother came to America from Puerto Rico looking for a better future for her 5 children and her. This ring is very meaningful because its been passed down by all generations after that. At the age of fifteen it was given to my grandmother, when my mother turned fifteen it was also given to her. When I turned fifteen my mom gave it to me. In the future I will also pass it down to my children. Honestly I don't wear the ring because it is gold and I wear silver, but also because its really not my type. I keep it safe because it is very meaningful to my family and me.
