This is a Gold Necklace that's made in Italy. My Grandma gave this Necklace to me a couple years ago. This object connects to my family's culture because it was made in Italy in the town where my Grandma was raised and born in before she moved to the U.S. This Necklace was my Grandma's when she was younger and it was very important to her, so it's as important to me. This Necklace was given to my Grandma in Italy when she was young girl by her mother, it was hers before she passed it down to my Grandma. My Grandma moved to the U.S in 1960 when she was 15 years old. The Necklace was given to my Grandma in 1949 in Calabria, Italy.
