Pumas shoes
My Mother gave up her entire family in order to get away from my dad and for a better future. Life in Honduras isn't really easy. I was only one, my sister was seven so she remembers everything better and more clear. We were so little we didn't know that once my mom got in that white car, she wasn't coming back. My sister and I stood back home in Honduras with my dad. My sister had to grow up fast in order to take care of me. My mom now being in the United states walked around looking for jobs. She knew no English so it was hard to communicate with other people. Finding a job wasn't easy so she couldn't send money to us in Honduras. Now being in the United States for awhile now she started adapting and working many jobs. She worked many nights and days sometimes she worked all 7 days. All those jobs eventually became a good thing because she was able to bring me and my sister to live over here with her. Now its 2017 I'm almost done with high school & my sister is almost done with college. And my mom still has those white and blue pumas she came to this country with. My mom is proud to have those shoes because to her those shoes are a remainder to not give up, that eventually things get better. She always says how she wouldn't trade those pumas for nothing not even for a billion bucks.
