Glass Blower's Notepad

My great grandfather Joseph Bawer was 14 years old when he came over from Poland. Back then, one couldn't come through Ellis Island without an idea of where he was going to live and what he was going to do- you had to be productive to live in the country. Luckily, Joseph's older brother already lived here, and he planned to live with him. He became a glass blower on the Lower East Side, at East 4th Street. This is the notepad he used in his work- I assume it was to record transactions, or maybe to take notes for designing his work.
