German Candy Store

An object that is very important to my family is, A candy shop. When my great grandfather, my mom’s Opa, migrated to the U.S. When he migrated to the U.S. he brought a forest green wooden candy store which is around the size of a desk we use in social studies. It has little drawers for candies and a cash register. It also came with a scale to measure your candy and even more. He migrated from Germany so it came with some German decorations. One of my personal favorite candies that we put in the store is haribo berries, these are a recreation of the popular German raspberries. Hario is a big gummy brand that is German.
