My object is is the Albanian flag. It’s from Albania but we brought it In Kosovo. The flag is used for the traditional dance. The dance is people going in circles with their hands up, and feet moving in rhythm. The leader is holding the flag, it leads the circle. The design is a bird with 2 heads, but it has two legs. Whenever I see it I feel like the design has two heads because 2 people are better than one. The flag at my house reminds me of my culture. I think it is a good thing that we brought this flag with us here, a symbol of our pride.
      The flag was created in November 28, 1912. I am not from Albania actually, I am from Kosovo. The reason why I brought this flag instead of the other one was because Kosovo and Albania were once together. However, the states around it wanted to take over Kosovo, so there was a war and it split Kosovo and Albania apart. The Kosovo flag was made in November 4, 2007. I think that people should enjoy what they have. I don’t think that states should fight for land.
I think it is important to bring this Albanian flag because everyone was Albanian at that time. In case you’re wondering Kosovo and and Albania do speak the same language, but they money in the states is different.
