"The Children We Remember"
My object is a book called "The Children We Remember." This book was used for my family to remember the children that died in the Holocaust and to commemorate the people in our family that had to sacrifice their lives due to the Holocaust. This book came from the Archives of Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, Israel. My great grandparents bought the book at a museum and gave it to my mom when she was a kid. My mom kept this book over the years to give to her child if she ever had one. This object is important to me because I get a glimpse of children's lives during the Holocaust. Children just like me. This book connects to identity/culture in that it is about Jewish children, and I can relate to them.
