Family Autobiography
My artifact is the autobiography that my great grandfather William Bill Neufeld wrote about his life shortly before he passed away. It is special to my family and I because none of us were able to meet him (my dad, mother, sister and I) never really got to meet him only my grandparent’s which we don’t visit often. However, this published book that he wrote can tell me almost anything about his great life like the fascinating fact that he was in the 1924 Olympics and came fifth in his event, and all these great real stories about specific hilarious events that he took place in. William Bill Neufeld was born in Ukraine which was part of Russia but isn’t anymore. He made the book and published it in America where he immigrated to to avoid being drafted into the Russian army which his family didn’t want him to take part of. That is why my artifact is important to my family and I!
