Drożdżówki
The tradition of baking drożdżówkdrożdżówki in our home stretches back several generations. My mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother all baked yeast bread and rolls for their families. In our household, these baked goods were a cherished staple for every special occasion—holidays, birthdays, and name days alike.
The aroma that fills the entire house during baking transports me back to my childhood home in Poland. Now I'm continuing this beloved tradition for our children, passing down my family's treasured recipe so that one day they too can bake drożdżówki for their own families. Today, my children eagerly help with the baking, carefully adding ingredients and waiting excitedly in front of the oven, watching the dough rise until it's golden brown and ready to be shared with loved ones.
