                                                                                Depression Therapy

Depression therapy is used when a person has severe depression. This technique is used by going through your own traumatizing events or memories. These tools that are used when you are in the office are vibration hand pods or hearing beeps in each ear, and then you go home and write about what happened through your day and how it affected you.  There is a journal that I used to write in for therapy to help me process my thoughts. This journal was used at the very beginning of therapy, but I'm not in therapy currently.  The journal had different types of sequins on the front and back of the book that helped me calm down whenever I ran my hand across or up and down on the book to calm me down. Sometimes, the depression hit really hard to the point that I couldn't get out of bed.
It takes a lot to sit there and write every thought and feeling you have in a book, and it can scare you when you reread it years later. It can be a problem if someone ever finds that journal that isn’t supposed to be seen by anyone. However, this journal really helped me through the hard times and whatnot. I know there are a lot of people that go through this and probably much worse than mine. The whole reason I got into depression therapy was that I was put on suicide watch which landed me in therapy.  Every day I'm thankful that I didn't actually take my life because therapy helped by giving me an outlet to talk and also write when no one was there for me.
