My parents both migrated from Pakistan to America around the 1990s and quickly adapted to the lifestyle in America. Later on most of my cousins and family moved to America after my parents convinced them. Everyone would usually be busy all day and we wouldnt see each other except for the holidays. In islam one holiday where everyone gathers together and is a day of joy. On this day we would go to the mosque in the morning and after we go home and prepare for everyone. My mother would make amazing food and desserts that everyone would love. This holiday is one thing that my parents had brought and kept as a tradition for us.
