Jade Necklace

Group:

When I was two years old, I had a necklace that belonged to my Grandma. We don't see each other mostly, but I felt her cold hand on my forehead when I was just four months old. When I was in 2nd grade, I began to wonder what my jade necklace tasted like, so I would put it in my mouth. It tasted like ice cream to me. When I was younger, I thought it was a magical charm. I've also thought my necklace will protect me from bad spirits. I have the necklace today because it was passed down from generation to generation. My necklace is green and has a picture of a goddess sitting on a lily-pad. I like my necklace because it is beautiful. Every year I change the chain on my necklace. I always show it to my friends and tell them what it is. I have two matching bracelets, which are also my favorite.
