My family immigrated from Mexico and they brought no traditions. My dad wanted to come to the U.S. because he wanted to know what it was like to live here and work. My dad’s time in Mexico was okay for him. He went to school and had a small job living with his parents. His favorite time of year was when Christmas came around ,all of his family would come together to eat special meals, outside. When he thought it was time to come to the U.S. ,the best method for him would be on a bus. When he arrived to the U.S. , he felt lonely since he didn’t have any friends or family nearby. So he first started in finding a decent job and buying a car. Once he did that, he started looking into better jobs and ended up finding one he was happy with. After his life was stable, he started a family.
