Creche

A crèche is the stable in which Mary had Jesus in and it is most of the time made from wood. It is a piece of Christmas/Christian decoration that all the wise man and shepherds gathered around and inside of while watching Jesus' birth. My crèche is made out of wood from a wooden barn that was falling down out on my great grandparents farm from my mom's side in Kansas. This object is used around Christmas time as decoration. My mom gave me the knowledge of this object because it comes from Kansas. It is important to me because it completes a symbol of Christ, my savior. This same crèche has been made for all of the families on my mom's side for three generations. These crèches are made out of the same wood and have the same design.
