Cousins basketball jersy
This image is meaningful to me because it is a jersey of my cousin Mark who was a fabulous basketball player. He played for the Israel's national team during the Munich Olympics and was forced to jump out the window. I was very close to my cousin spending a lot of time with him playing basketball with my brothers as well. Sadly, he died in his early early 50's due to lung cancer but I was fortunate enough to spend time with him and learn about all of his fabulous stories about his past with basketball. For example, how he was the last person to be cut from the 76er's team the year they won the championship. He was very influential in my life because he was a role model who taught me about how to play basketball, stay focused, and commit all of your effort to things that you love. He wasn't only a great cousin but also a great person who was filled with energy and fire with the desire to protect his family and win. I sometimes spent time with him during the Jewish holidays including spending passover and reciting the four questions with him by my side.
