This is my great grandfather's Combat Infantry Badge. He was awarded the badge after he had fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was support infantry during the battle. You can only get this badge if you were infantry in WWll. The badge is made of pure silver, and copper. It was passed down to my father when he was around my age, and now it has been passed down to me.
