One of my honestly most prized possessions and personal items are my grandpa's model cars. They don't represent any big family history or culture, but they are important to me and were to my grandpa. He and my dad have always been really into cars, and my dad even bought him a couple of the model car. My grandpa was my hero when I was younger, and I always wanted to be around him. He was a race car driver, and he always let me sit in his dragster before a race. I went everywhere with him and was always in his shop with him, where he kept some of his model cars. In the basement (his man cave) is where he kept most, and every time I was there I would go down to play with them while he played solitaire. Each time he showed me a different car, but I always had a favorite, which is this yellow and white car. Its beat up and old, but when my grandpa passed, and my dad asked if there was anything of his that I would like to have, that's the only thing I told him. I keep all of his cars in my room on a shelf, along with his ashes.
