The christmas tree is a very important object to my family and our tradition. It is one of the most important things that represents christmas. My whole family is from Brazil. We moved to the United States in 2015 when I was about 6 or 7 years old. In Brazil, Christmas is one of the most important times of the year. Most Brazilians are religious and are christian and in Christianity, Christmas is when Jesus is born. This is a time where we celebrate the birth of Jesus. It's not just a religious time for my family and I. Family is a very important aspect of Brazilian tradition and everyone is very close to each other. During Christmas my whole family gathers together and we all celebrate being together as a whole.
