Every Thanksgiving my mom makes cornbread with a special cast iron skillet. This skillet is from my great great grandma. It’s from Ireland, and overtime the cast iron skillet has moved to my great grandma and my grandma and then my mom. Now my mom uses it every year. It came through on a boat from Ireland. I really enjoyed making cornbread with my mom last Thanksgiving. I enjoyed being the taste tester of the cornbread and I always get first dibs.
