Since the beginning of time my family has believed in giving their daughters a blanket from birth to carry with them until they get married or throughout their life. Mines came late at the age of two. This object i'm writing about is my blanket, I've had it since i was two years old from my mother, i's important to me because it's a sense of love,sense,tradition and comfort and stability. And i especially appreciate it nowadays because being away from my mom with my father now from for these past few months it still makes me feel close to her rather than just talking to her over the phone. Almost as if i's a keepsake. So it's near and dear to me.
