My great great grandpa came from Cologne, Germany when he was 8 years old at the time in 1826. He settled a little near Columbus, Ohio, in 1827. He had a very good education and later on went to college at the University of Ohio. Heinrich Reibert, known as Henry once he settled in the United States, graduated in 1840. This bible was the one he used during college and for the rest of his life. In 1866, he was one of the first employees for Huntington Bank, a major bank located in Columbus that started in 1866. There isn't too much about the Bible or him, he died in 1899 because of natural causes, and lived a long life. His son and my ex great grandfather Gene relocated to Oklahoma a few years after his death.
