My item is my Rubik’s Cube because it represents my identity as a person who likes to learn and problem solve. My mom got it for me Christmas of 2024. It was important to me since it was much faster than my older ones. It was also important since I recently started solving Rubik’s Cubes, and I wanted to be able to solve them faster. I think it represents my personality since they require someone to be able to use problem solving skills. They also have my algorithms, or set of specific turns, needed to solve the cube. I always liked needing to solve puzzles like this, so using Rubik’s cubes was my way to use these skills in a different way, as the cube is never the same each time. Part of my identity is I like learning, and Rubik’s cubes require a lot of that. So since my concept of identity involves a lot of the objects you like, this cube fits that very well. This object connects very well to my love for learning, it is part of my identity. In conclusion, I brought this because it shows my passion for complex things, and using it in a hobby.
