My parents gifted me and my brother with an xbox 360 when we were very young. This differentiates our culture from our family’s. The console helped me and my brother through tough times and created many fun memories. My parents both immigrated from Honduras. A lot of my family still lives in Honduras, though some live in Roanoke and one lives in Canada. My mom and my dad met through a friend in common. Personally, I don’t know of any families that met the same way, but I know that a lot of people that immigrate to America find their love that has done the same. My parents and the rest of my family didn’t have the same things growing up, and that shows how different the culture of America is than the culture of Hispanic countries.
