In the 1980s, one of my aunts in the Dominican Republic found this chain and pendant near her doorstep. When she found it, it immediately granted her good luck and fortune. She was able to win bingo for the first time even though she had been going to that Bingo place for 20 years. And even though all she won was a book that wasn't the end of her great fortune. She had won money and her house didn't have problems for the first time in months. She told only her twin kids about it and that they would also share this fortune. So when they turned 16 each got either the pendant or chain. My family continued to share the story, and the twins decided to give my father both the chain and pendant so he could propose to my mother, knowing how much the artifact meant to her and our family.
