My object is a Wahoo game board that my grandpa gifted my family. The board itself was created by my grandpa, who cut, drilled, and shaped the board by hand. The board is made completely from scratch, starting with a giant piece of Formica. The typical Wahoo board is made out of wood, but my grandfather decided to just walk into a cabinet shop and buy Formica instead. From there he created our Wahoo board. He gifted us the board in 2014, and we have used it ever since. I am big on family time, and playing Wahoo is one of the best ways to spend time with your family and create everlasting memories with loved ones. The game of Wahoo was first introduced to my family when my grandmother was in junior high, and I have grown up my entire life with this game. Ever since that moment, when my family was gifted their first Wahoo board, Wahoo has been a monumental part of my family. I can not remember one game where there wasn’t excitement, laughter, and competition in the air. The game created an environment where anyone, in any mood, could have a great time. With each game, we all became more competitive, and not one person wasn't smiling. Many people around the world play games, but Wahoo, for my family, isn’t just a game. It will always mean so much more than that. Always hoping to be the next winner.
