My Grandfather immigrated to the U.S. from Toisan; which is known for its merchants. My Father continued  in the same tradition, by eventually opening the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory (CICF).  

The sweatshirt in this picture is nearly 30  years old.  I grew up at CICF helping my Father as soon as I was tall enough to scoop ice cream.  A family business is a difficult road. We endured financial hardship, gang violence and extortion. Through perseverance, we continue to grow with incredible pride in our successful second generation business and never forgetting our Chinatown roots.  We are determined to continue to give back to our community.
Fun Facts: Did you know...
(1)Ice cream originated in China.  At CICF we believe lychee ice cream is as American as apple pie.
(2) CICF vintage shirts can be found on the internet for double the price of what a brand new one costs!
